How to connect a domain name to your Typsa website
Your Typsa website can show on your own domain name, from the Starter plan. Here are the settings to make with your domain provider. Your website also stays available on its typsa.fr address.
Step 1: log in to your domain name provider
Go to the website where you bought your domain (for example OVH, GoDaddy or Namecheap) and log in with your credentials.
Step 2: open DNS management
Once logged in, open the DNS management or DNS zone section. It shows your domain's DNS records and lets you edit them.
Step 3: edit the A records of the domain and www
Edit (or create) the A records of the root domain and of the www subdomain:

Delete any other A or AAAA records on these two names: they would send some of your visitors elsewhere.
Step 4: wait for DNS propagation
DNS changes take anywhere from a few minutes to 48 hours to propagate fully.
Step 5: send us your domain name
Email us at contact@typsa.fr with your domain and your website's typsa.fr address: we link it to your website and activate its HTTPS certificate.

Your website shows on your domain, with or without www. If you have trouble with the DNS settings, check your provider's documentation or write to us.
